CrossFit Kids Mission Statement:

Our goal at CrossFit Kenmore Kids is to help our youth enjoy their highest level of functional fitness. We will do this by combining elements of gymnastics, plyometrics, Olympic weightlifting, nutrition, and games in a constantly varied atmosphere of sport and safety. We believe that developing a passion for fitness in childhood will set the foundation for lifelong physical activity, which will maximize their quality of life and promote good health well into their adulthood.

Kenmore's CrossFit Kids

Do you remember being on the playground in 5th grade and doing handstands?  Or flying across the monkey bars while your friends watch you?  Or are you now watching your own kids doing extremely acrobatic things without anyone teaching them?  Well why is it that we lose that ability over time?  What if we didn't maintain that fitness level, but built upon it from an early age?

We have seen many testimonies at our gym of people conquering their illnesses and growing in fitness starting at an older age, but what if we never lost that fitness in the first place.  It is our belief here at CrossFit Kenmore that this world has not seen a glimpse of fitness yet and we won't until children are brought up with healthy priorities.  CrossFit Kids will introduce your kids to living fit lives.  We will show them how to maintain and build healthy lives.  We believe with this kind of exposure that we will eradicate obesity within a few generations.  As bold and forward as that may sound, the kids just have fun.  They see it as play.  They get to jump around, swing from ropes, and learn new things.  We see that if they can have fun, learning is maximized.  Let's meet the trainers.

Angela is a CrossFit Level 1 Certified Trainer who loves helping people of all levels find their inner passion for fitness and nutrition. She was not in any sports in school, and at first sight was a bit intimidated with the CrossFit workouts in general.  But shortly after starting CrossFit, she realized it is her passion and her sport. Right now, Angela is a student just up the road at Bastyr University.  She is working on getting her Bachelor of Science degree  with a major in nutrition/Didactic Program in
Dietetics degree to be a registered dietitian.  She is always excited
to show others how much fun fitness can be and to invite them into the CrossFit community.
