Barbell Club focuses on Olympic weightlifting, specifically mastering the Snatch and Clean and Jerk. We build general strength and power, which are key to success in weightlifting. Through targeted skill and strength exercises like pulls, presses, and squats, we break down the lifts into smaller segments to help you become proficient in the full movement. Weightlifting not only showcases strength and power but also enhances flexibility.
Whether you're looking to improve your technique for CrossFit, enter your first weightlifting competition, or get serious in the sport, Kenmore Barbell Club is for you. The club meets once a week, and members follow a 4 day/week periodized program tailored specifically for members participating in the Club. You can complete the programming during regular gym hours.
